PUBLIC NOTICE

The attention of the Management of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has been drawn to the publication on the website of a so-called Stevens Finance Services with link http://www.stevensfinanceservices.com/2017-grant-scheme in which the organisation claims to be offering free loans as part of its 2017 Empowerment for Healthy Nigerian Youth grant scheme. It also claims that the grant scheme is partly assisted by the NDIC and the Bank of Industry (BoI).

The NDIC seizes this opportunity to remind the general public that the mandate of the Corporation (NDIC) does not include the provision of grants, loans or any other type of financial assistance to individuals. Similarly, the Corporation has never entered into any joint partnership with the Bank of Industry and Stevens Finance Services for the above mentioned scheme and hereby uses this medium to wholesomely disassociate itself from the apparent scam.
